As one of Victoria's largest and most varied industries, manufacturing plays a vital role in the state's economy.

In 2010 there were more than 3500 musculoskeletal injuries reported to WorkSafe as occurring in Victorian Manufacturing Workplaces. Many injuries could have been prevented through appropiate risk controls.

Jayco is Australia's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles. Founded by its Managing Director Gerry Ryan, Jayco prides itself on being a "family company". With some 850 employed - we are one of Victoria's largest manufacturing employers.
