Beginning in 1973 the awards have been a vital tool to help promote and develop Australian country music both in the country and aboard. These awards continue to be one of the nation’s longest running awards ceremony which is broadcasted nationally on free to air and pay television and listened to on national, commercial and community radio.
With the awards held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre it’s a fantastic opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of the music on the final night of the festival.
