3. Your Mission? The Jayco Owners Club of Victoria is a social club that operates to enable all members to enjoy themselves and maximize the use of their Jayco Recreational Vehicle.
4. Who should apply – the ideal people you are after (some groups like people to bring dogs, others don’t etc) It can simply be ‘everyone and anyone’ if you like. Our membership includes families who have been members for most of our club's 26 years. We have a range of ages from retired couples to couples with young families. We have a no smoking policy at club events and do not organize our rally program to cater for pets.
5. How many members you have?
We currently have 48 financial members. As the club is run entirely by members for members and many parks have limited sites for tourists, we find that the availability of Caravan Park sites restricts the size of our membership, as we regularly have around 20-25 vans attend our monthly rallies.
6. When the group was formed? Our club celebrated 25 years of caravanning in May 2006
7. How often you go on Rally’s? We have an annual program of monthly weekend rallies, including long weekends and Easter (not January and August). Occasionally we organize extended rallies of between 2 and 4 weeks to other states. We hold our AGM, usually on the 3rd Saturday in August and combine this with a social gathering
8. What are the Rally’s you go on EVERY year? No set program. Our rally program is organised each year for 12 months in advance.
