New multi-million-dollar Jayco caravan facility launches in Dubbo this week

A multi-million-dollar drive-in and drive-out Jayco caravan facility launch in Dubbo this week, offering locals and interstate travellers with all their caravan needs under one roof while providing jobs for local residents and boosting the region’s economy.

Part of the Blueridge Business Park, the new caravan facility by Jayco dealer, Work Rest Play Here, is the biggest Jayco caravan dealership in the Greater Western New South Wales region. It sits on 14,000 square metres of land and is centrally and conveniently located in the heart of New South Wales, providing caravanners from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia with all their servicing and repair needs while on the road.

“Our caravan facility has been in the works for the past two and a half years and we’re so thrilled and proud to finally launch this week,” said Jayco Dubbo dealer and Work Rest Play Here Director, Chris Gibson.

“We spent a long time finding the right location. We wanted to make sure it was central for travelling Jayco customers across the East Coast, but also one that was easy to access for local residents. We scoured Dubbo real estate for months and we’re so glad we’ve secured a premier location,” said Mr Gibson.

Work Rest Play Here enlisted local construction company Blueridge Projects to create the state-of-the-art facility and engaged local tradesmen and construction workers to build the site, supporting the local economy. Furthermore, a bigger Jayco dealership and facility means employment opportunities for local residents.

“We’re a family-owned business and we understand the importance of supporting local. We have just recruited two new staff members including a new service manager and we’ll continue to grow and expand over the next few months, particularly when travel restrictions begin to ease,” said Mr Gibson.

“Domestic tourism is set to boom over the coming months, and we have been gearing up and preparing ourselves for the end of the COVID-19 crisis and when people are ready to hit the road again,” he said.

The new Jayco Dubbo dealership and facility is now open to customers. In addition to selling Jayco caravans, the facility is also a Let’s Go Motorhome branch for people looking to hire motorhomes and campervans for when travel restrictions lift.

The company is currently implementing safe social distancing to limit the spread of COVID-19. It is located at 2/20 Blueridge Drive Dubbo NSW 2830.
