Not So Grey Nomads

We are the Not So Grey Nomads. Brad (32 Electrician), Lauren (33 Administration), Deacon (5 going on 13) and Tanner (2 with attitude). The decision to pack up our lives, say goodbye to our beautiful dog, family and friends were not easy, but we knew we needed to take a step back from the rat race where every day felt like groundhog day. The kids are young, but it feels like they are growing up in the blink of an eye. We want to immerse ourselves in this part of their lives in a way that will be remembered for years to come. To be able to say, “we work to live, not live to work”.

Like all who plan for an adventure, it does not always go to plan. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had us depart 4 months after our scheduled date. We have been on the road since November in 2020 towing our new Jayco Journey Outback 19.61-3 with our Ford Ranger.

The decision to purchase our Journey was an easy one for us, upgrading from a late 80’s caravan to something with all the modern conveniences of a home was a must. Rain, hail or shine we are always comfortable, safe, and dry.

We look forward to sharing all our adventures with you as we travel into the unknown. If you see us out and about, come to say g’day and have a frothy (or a coffee).
