A guide to your Jayco RV: How to use the Furrion DV5700 stereo

There’s nothing more enjoyable than blasting some of your favourite tunes whilst you’re on the road.

Music is an essential part of the holiday, so you’ll need to know how to operate the on-board stereo in your RV to enjoy some tunes.

Luckily, the Furrion DV5700 fitted in your vehicle is an easy-to-use, high quality sound system that has everything you need to enjoy your choice of audio.

Whether you want to catch up on some radio or you have a good playlist on your phone you would like to listen to, we have you covered with this guide.

In this video, Chris will be demonstrating how to use the Furrion DV5700 on-board stereo fitted in a Jayco Journey Outback 19.61-3 Caravan.

This is a standard inclusion in All Terrain Pop Tops, Journey Caravans, All Terrain Caravans, Starcraft Pop Tops, Journey Pop Tops, Expanda Pop Tops, Silverline Caravans, Starcraft Caravans, Expanda Caravans, and Basestation Caravans. This feature is optional on Campers and CrossTraks.

Step-by-step guide to using the on-board stereo:

Step 1

First, you will need to turn the stereo on using the power button on the left.

The screen will light up, which will indicate that it is on.

Step 2

Click on the mode button to select your desired mode.

This allows you to opt for stereo, pair the device with your phone or use an auxiliary input.

Step 3

If you would like to play a CD, drop the face down by pressing the button on the top left corner.

Insert your CD.

Lift the face back up.

Step 4

To access the external speaker mode, press on the select button.

The options bass, treble and fade will be displayed on the screen.

Select fade and adjust the level in or out using the LED touchscreen circle on the left. This will turn on your internal and external speakers.

Step 5

To turn the unit off, simply press the power button.
