There are a few things that make a good road trip – great company, plenty of snacks and a fantastic playlist.

While each person has their own music preferences, there truly is no better way to explore all our country has to offer than to do it while belting out some Aussie tunes.

To inspire you, we’ve selected ten of our favourite Aussie songs from across the decades that are perfect for your next RV trip.

  1. Down Under – Men at Work

One of the most iconic Aussie songs out there, Down Under truly sums up the Australian spirit and is a must for your road trip playlist.

  1. You’re the Voice – John Farnham

You’re the Voice, otherwise known as the unofficial Australian Anthem, is sure to get big cheers – no one can resist belting this tune out.

One cannot have an Australian playlist without including Khe Sanh. It was the very first Cold Chisel single and remains one of the most popular.
