If you’re on the hunt for a van for your family, it is important to consider how and where you’ll be using your van. Are you the kind of family that wants to go entirely off road, or do you need extra space to store all your motorbikes and surfboards?

To help you find your ideal van, we’ve rounded up a few options for all different kinds of families.

There is something for everyone – from the family who loves adventure, to the family who can’t go past a bit of luxury. If you need some more advice on essential ‘must haves’ when buying a family caravan, check out our blog post.

For the family who wants to spend their weekends on the road

For families who want to spend their weekend exploring, you can’t go past the Jayco Journey, Australia’s number one caravan. The Journey is built to last and is packed full of plenty of extra features including Amazon Alexa, Sphere WiFi and GPS. It comes fully equipped with a kitchen, ensuite and tonnes of storage making it the perfect weekender.

Another great option is one of Jayco’s three different motorhome models – Jayco Conquest, Jayco Conquest DX and Jayco Optimum. Each model has different layout options, but all motorhomes come with a spacious kitchenette, ensuite and sleeping spaces. All you have to do is pack up your gear, put the key in and you can hit the road!

For the family who loves adventure

The Jayco Basestation is a heavy hitter when it comes to big adventure and big comfort. Sleeping up to eight people, the living space provides all the comforts of home while the garage zone is perfect for storing motorbikes, surfboards or go-karts.

If your family needs a more lightweight version, look no further than the Jayco Work’n’Play. Comfortably sleeping up to six people, the Work’n’Play comes with an ensuite, functional kitchen and a sizeable storage area for all the family’s gear.

For the family who wants to get off road

The Jayco CrossTrak is the perfect van if your family loves getting off road, as it is built with off-roading travel at the forefront. It features a pop-top solid roof, an outdoor ensuite and an external kitchen. With four different floor plans, the CrossTrak can sleep up to two adults and two children.

If you are looking for something slightly roomier, look no further than the Jayco All-Terrain. The all-terrain is packed with plenty of features to make it your home away from home, including a stylish indoor kitchen, 171L fridge, an ensuite with shower and toilet and an air conditioner. With three separate floorplans, the All-Terrain can sleep up to six people.

For the family who loves luxury

If your family likes a little bit of luxury, the Jayco Silverline is the pinnacle of sophistication. With features like Amazon Alexa, a 360-degree camera, smartphone app-controlled electric awning and Wi-fi, the Silverline has plenty to offer. The Silverline has a range of floorplans that can sleep up to four and comes fully equipped with an ensuite, washing machine and air conditioner.
